"Earth 6". "I worked in multiples with the earth theme using: watercolour, ink, collage, string, gold leaf, and lacquer. My inspiration has been the dry riverbed with pebbles and
trails left
behind by small creatures, the minerals and elements below the surface
and the flowers that fall to the earth in a constant cycle of seasons.
The addition of string in 2 of the multiples represents the human
influence and introduction of human-made materials that affect the
earth".
No. 3 Materials: Pen, acrylic paint and collage (textured paper). "I drew from photographs taken in Sydney and London focusing on the
landscape. My interest in etching has filtered across to pen drawings
where I have emersed myself in detail. I particularly enjoyed the
process of combining textured paper to drawn and painted images".
